Paula, you are so loved and so missed. I am humbled and honored to have been your friend and pastor for the past 10 years. You not only gave the first offering to the ministry of Revolution Church, you gave so much wisdom, love, laughter, and leadership as well. You always believed in me and supported me and the church in our efforts to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ while also meeting physical needs of disenfranchised families. I’m so grateful for that! I could not have asked for a better friend and administrator in ministry.
With your leadership, we were able to share the gospel to thousands of people around the world and help meet physical needs not only here in DC but around the country. We even dug a well in Africa because of your guidance.
As I shared with you during one of our last conversations, we’re so close to moving into the lighthouse community center. We would not have found that building without your real estate skills and efforts. Once we move in, we’re going to continue to serve the community by providing services and programs for families. I remember how your face lit up when I told you that we are dedicating the children’s area to you. We’re going to call it, Paula‘s Place. It will be a fun, safe place for children in the city.
You truly have been such a blessing to me and my family. I’m grateful that we were able to share life together. I’ll see you on the other side of Heaven in due time. Until then, I will continue in your legacy of love and service to others. Rest well, my dear friend. I love you so much!

When I heard the news of Paula's passing, it really broke my heart. She is one of the genuine kind and caring person’s I have ever met. We met at a former place of worship we shared and was always the same, a kind soul. Even though we didn’t talk a lot, I considered her a friend. My heart and prayers go out to Sam and the entire family who I know she loved immensely. In 2018 doing a very difficult time for me we talked and shared every day. Paula proved herself to be a true friend indeed. Now, there will not be a day that goes by that I walk in my house and I think of her because there’s something in my living room that she gave me. I love you and I will miss you, Paula.

What can I say about Paula besides being loving, kind and diligent at anything given to her? I have many personal memories I could share but I am appreciative of being apart of them.
