Paula C. Bober, 70, of Dix, Illinois, passed away at 3:57 am at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri. She was born March 20, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Paul Cermak and Jean (Poteraske). Paula married Rick Bober on January 16, 1982 and he survives.

In addition to her husband, Paula is survived by her son, Charles Bober and grandson, Logan of Crystal Lake, IL; stepson, Richard (Cindy) Bober and children of Beecher City, IL; stepdaughter, Jennifer (Doug) Gordon and children of Beecher City, IL; and sister, Kathy Villafuerte.

Paula was preceded in death by both parents and three brothers, Larry, Ray, and Dale Cermak.

Paula was a warrior in Christ - even in her last days she continued to give God praise. She was thankful and showed gratitude even to her last breath. Paula was a believer in family and taking care of one another.

Paula will be cremated. No formal services will be held. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
