Seeing Paul and Aletha was always a highlight of my work trips to Monterey.  I miss my those days and all the help Paul provided in making sure we had the right data for our wave predictions.

Paul was a great guy and was really fun to hang out with at work.  We both had a mutual acquaintance in Ventura, CA (Surfer/Meteorologist Lee Eddington).  I miss our talks at FNMOC!  Pual was a great coworker and family man.  You are missed!

Paul was the kindest person that I knew at FNMOC.  We would always talk about weather and surfing. I was surprised to find out that we had a longtime mutual acquaintance with a colleague from Point Mugu! I am sad that I am just finding out that Paul is gone.  I enjoyed sharing a joke from time to time with him, and hearing him laugh.  I will never forget seeing Paul get his 6’3” or 4” frame into his wife’s Mini Cooper! Rest In Peace, you are missed!

We were so very sorry to hear of the passing of Paul.... He was such a gentle, soft-spoken guy who genuinely listened and was so supportive of my coffee shop in Moss Landing. One of the first customers along with his wife, Aletha who I always enjoyed talking with..... I will raise a strong, hot cup of coffee to you today. Paul. May you rest in peace and find a good wave to ride......
