When Paul was 6 years old, his father, who was in the Navy, got a job at the Pentagon in Washington DC. Paul worked at Arlington National Cemetery in his teens.

He graduated with his bachelor's degree in analytical chemistry at Michigan State University.

Paul, in 1987 married Carolyn Vogel Roltsch. They had and are survived by three boys; Allan Roltsch of Waterford, MI, Josh (Melinda White) Roltsch of Howell, MI, Chris (Michelle Polasek) Roltsch of Commerce, MI, his wife Carolyn, his most cherished grandchildren, CJ, Logan, Asher, Grace, and River. Siblings Gwen (Randy Johnson) Roltsch, Brian (Angela Suthard) Roltsch, mother-in-law Rita (Power) Vogel, in-laws Ann (Carl Stewart) Vogel, Phillip Vogel, Kevin (Nicole Coon) Vogel, Cheryl (Barber) Vogel, many nieces and nephews

In heaven, he will join his father, mother, father-in-law Gerald Vogel, brother-in-law Daniel Vogel, and best friend Dennis DeGripp.

He loved being involved with his family by becoming president of the PTA, coaching all sports his children played, and attending grandkids' sporting events. He was involved in tracing his family tree, even taking a genealogy vacation to Nova Scotia and New Brunswick to see where his ancestors came from.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made in his honor to help with funeral costs. That information is found here: https://everloved.com/life-of…
