It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul "Pauly" Rivas on the 14th of October, 2023. Born on the 8th of February, 1985, Paul lived a life filled with laughter, love, and notably memorable moments.

Known by his close family and friends as Pauly, his charismatic and humorous nature never failed to light up any room he walked into. He was more than just a comic relief; he was a devoted father, a loving husband, a cherished son, a beloved brother, a dear nephew, and undoubtedly, a loyal friend.

Paul's family was the center of his universe. One of his most significant accomplishments was being a loving father to his three beautiful children and a devoted husband to his wife. His exceptional parenting and constant devotion to his family were evidence of his huge heart and selfless nature.

A proud graduate of Cal State Bakersfield, Paul used his education and unique personality to make impactful contributions in his career and personal life. His legacy extends beyond his academic achievements and is deeply embedded in the lives of those who had the privilege to know him.

He leaves behind his wife, Shawn , who will continue to honor his memory along with his 3 children Scarlett, Jude and Lucy and family. Paul's absence leaves a void that will never be filled, but the memories he created will forever remain in our hearts.

Paul "Pauly" Rivas, a man of many roles, will be dearly missed by many. His life, though short-lived, was one full of enormous joy and love. As we mourn his loss, let us also celebrate the life of a man who brought smiles to our faces and taught us the beauty of cherishing every moment.
