Love you brother, miss you like crazy 🙏🏻♥️🙏🏻
Paul was my neighbor for a short time.  He loved his family and even though his health was failing he tried his best to be a good dad and he talked about Tracy all the time.  I could tell he loved her with all his heart.  He talked about working and I knew he missed it but I think it helped him just by talking about what he used to do, I don’t think he missed the heat from the one job that he used to do lol.  I don’t know how he did it.  I think we had a lot of the same views and values because we grew up the same.  My grandparents raised me and we both agreed that most people didn’t have morals anymore like the old days and it bothered us because we grew up in a time when “your character was everything “.   I respected him because of his character.  My grandma use to say “ say what you mean and mean what you say”, Paul was like that.  He was trying to teach his kids the same values and morals.  He wasn’t perfect and none of us are but he tried the best he could.  Prayers for his family.  Especially his daughter Emily who was around him 24/7 and shouldn’t have had to see him at his worst but handled it better than most would’ve.  She is a very strong person, I think she got that from her dad and of course her mom Tracy has been there for her and Paul.  That’s one reason paul loved her so much.

Paul was my dad's best friend in high school, I always considered him as my god-father from being around him since such a young age. I just remember when I was younger he would always pick me up by my feet and shake me until money "fell out of my ears" and say I stole his lunch money. He would tease me and call me "Evil-one" because id always be in some mischief. Growing up he was just as much as a father to me as my own father was, and to me that meant everything. Paul was a wonderful man who was strong-willed, if he taught me anything it was to never let someone run me over. Him and my dad always had my back and he will forever hold a place in my heart, and to his close family i'm so sorry for your loss of this amazing man but know he is ALWAYS with you!!
