Paul Oscar Paulson of Willow Glen passed peacefully on March 7, 2024 at the age of 92.

Paul lived a full life, and remained in good health and state of mind throughout his 92 years. Paul lived to a self-instilled code, a man of loyalty, conviction and candor, a man of his word who would always do the right thing.

He was a skilled story-teller, with an array of anecdotes from his time served in the Air Force from 1951-54 as a Radar Technician. His successful business ventures in Private Mortgage during the real estate boom in San Jose, and countless trips with his fisherman buddies, always on the ready for the next big haul of salmon. Paul was gifted with a sense of connection with dogs, so much so that it was he who was their best friend. Paul is survived by Sandy Paulson, his wife of 39 years, his daughters Kelly Paulson Wilkins and Stacey Paulson Finnin and Kim Sickler. The proud grandfather of 5 granddaughters , Abbey and Julia Wilkins, Sally Finnin and Jillian and Natalie Sickler.

Paul lived to see these next generations ready to grow their lives on a foundational model of family that he instilled. He is fondly remembered as a husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
