Paul's obituary
Paul Overley, born on July 25, 1956, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2024. Known for his quiet, kind, hardworking and humorous nature, Paul left an indelible mark on those who knew him. He was a man who cherished simple pleasures: the laughter in an episode of "Andy Griffith", the sweet crunch of a Butterfinger candy bar, or the effervescence of a cold root beer.
In 1984, Paul married the love of his life, Barbara Overley, who predeceased him. His greatest joy and achievement was his family. He was immensely proud of his son, Jason, his two granddaughters, Khloe, and Kennedy, and held a special place in his heart for his daughter-in-law, Rachel Overley.
Paul was an avid fisherman, spending countless quiet hours by the water. He went on a deep sea fishing trip with his son and grand-daughter within the last year of his life.
He was a believer and a man of God. His family recalls days when he ran around the inside of his Pentecostal church, a testament to his enduring faith and love of the Lord.
A Memorial service will be held for Paul at 3:00 PM on June 15, 2024, at Redeeming Life 7110 Exchequer Dr. Those who knew and loved Paul are invited to attend and celebrate the life of a man who was a significant part of their lives.
In lieu of flowers, donations are being graciously accepted to assist with memorial service expenses. Donations can be made at the following URL: https://everloved.com/life-of….
Paul will be greatly missed by his family and friends. His memory will continue to inspire those he loved. His humorous and kind spirit, steadfast determination, and quiet strength remain as an example to us all.
