The first time we collected our tax bill as new next door neighbors, Paul was getting his mail at the same time. He teased me that we could pay his, too; it’s a sweet memory of a man who was always kind and helpful to me.
Paul helped out at Blue Ridge Adaptive Snowsports (BRASS) at Liberty Mountain with a high level of professionalism, responsibility and dependability. We so appreciated it and miss him being a part of our family on the mountain.
I will miss you Paul, your friendship meant a great deal to me.

Rest easy Paul. We did not spend much time together but the time we did was good. It’s hard to find words for things like this. What I know is you Loved and Were Loved by a good woman and that’s as good as any man can hope for.

Aunt Charlotte I’m so sorry for your loss. We think about you often. Love you

I came to know Paul because he loved his alma mater (The Citadel), and his empassioned expression of this via his volunteer work with the college.   For nearly 2 decades, Paul volunteered (on behalf of The Citadel) in the recruitment of future student leaders.   His passion to share his own leadership stories with such genuine passion and professionalism resonated with young people in both Maryland, and later Pennsylvania.    I offer my most sincere condolences to the Oswald family.
Paul was the very first person we met in the neighborhood.  We were only looking at the houses when he came out, offered any help, and was very welcoming. His generosity in giving his time was so admirable and kind.
