Paul's obituary

Paul S. Nichols, 87 years, 11 months, 24 days passed away in Pasadena, TX on May 14th, 2024.   Paul was born in Hanover PA on May 20, 1936 to Paul Luther and Marie Charlotte Nichols. 

 Paul attended Penn State University and was in the ROTC.  After graduation, he served in the U. S. Air Force for over 20 years.  He was a Pilot for many years and later served in the Military Air Command.  After his service to our country, he obtained his Masters and PHD from SIU.  He then moved to Arizona where he taught Graduate level Aeronautical Engineering at Arizona State University.  Later, he taught A. E. at Auburn University.

Once he retied from teaching, Paul went on to join a Seminary in Holland and became a Baptist Minister.  He preached his last sermon on December 31, 2023 at A New Direction Baptist Church in Crosby, TX.

Paul is survived by his wife, Myra Chandler Nichols, his daughter Kym Virobik, her husband Dan.  Step daughter Lynda Kinard, her husband Tommy and many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
