Paul Nicholas Murray died unexpectedly in Asheville, NC on May 29 at the age of 41. Paul is survived by his parents, Bruce and Geralyn Murray of Auburn AL, his siblings Douglas Murray (Missoula, MT), Ellen Murray (Montgomery, AL), and Jack Murray (upstate New York), as well as his children, Isaiah, Eliora, and Evelyn Murray of Auburn. He was accompanied in death by his wife Farrah Nicole Echard Murray.

Paul was born on July 22, 1982, in Houston, MO. Paul was a family entertainer, soccer enthusiast, cook, surveyor, coal miner, drone operator, tie dye artist, husband, and father to three amazing children.

Paul was an unstoppable force. But sadly, something did stop him. There are lessons we can learn from his life. Ask for help when you need help. Forgive the people who hurt you. Admit when you are wrong and make amends for your mistakes. Paul is no longer with us, but his spirit lives on in our hearts and in our memories.

Paul’s funeral was July 27 at St. Michael the Archangel Parish, with Msgr. Michael Farmer officiating. He was interred in the St. Michael Columbarium.
