Paul's obituary
Paul Davis, born on December 15, 1967, passed away on June 7, 2023. He is survived by his daughter, Kaitlynn Davis, his father Micheal Davis, and his Brother Joseph Davis. Paul was predeceased by his mother, Sandra Romachovskey nee Davis, his son Kristopher Davis and his wife, Rebecca Touhy nee Davis.
After graduating high school in Muskegon, MI in 1985, Paul immediately began a career with the United States Marine Corps. He served with honor and distinction until his retirement in 2008.
In 2000, Paul welcomed his daughter, Kaitlynn, into the world. He was a loving and dedicated father who cherished every moment they spent together. Paul was additionally blessed in 2001 with the birth of his son Kristopher, who predeceased him.
Paul enjoyed a variety of interests, including dining on steak and baked potatoes, sipping sweet tea, and reading his favorite book, Jarhead. He was a fan of AC/DC, Yellowstone, The Goonies, and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Poker was his game of choice, and he loved training his dogs and spending time at Lafayette Park near his home.
Running was his preferred method of exercise, and he treasured vacationing in Alaska. Paul was passionate about supporting The Warrior Dog Foundation and had a strong affinity for the color blue.
Reserved, stoic, and warm, Paul had a unique personality that endeared him to those close to him. He often shared the valuable lesson, "Giving up is for pu!!ies, figure it out and keep going." Overcoming alcoholism and his time in the Marines were among his greatest accomplishments.
Paul leaves behind a legacy of memories that his family will carry with them. He will be deeply missed for his dad jokes and his ability to always repair the kitchen sink.
