Paul's obituary

Paul Lawrence Lind, 58, of Bear, Delaware went to his eternal home on Sunday, June 4, 2023. Waiting to greet him at heaven’s gates were his parents, Frank and Mariann Lind; his brother, Donald P. Lind; and his cat, Gizzy.

Paul was a simple man. He loved spending time with his family and friends watching movies; walking their dogs, Bear and Isabella, at the Salem County Sportsmen's Club and Lums Pond; playing board games and Playstation; playing the guitar; and attending concerts and other live events. He was a true 4 for 4 Philly fan, experiencing the totality of all that it brings: the pain, the anguish, the joy, and triumph.

Paul loved nature and felt most at home when he was outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and boating; however, fishing was his true passion. Weekends were spent riding in his boat, walking along the water’s edge, and, perhaps, even catching a fish! When Paul didn’t have a rod in his hand he could often be found walking the banks talking to other fishermen. He NEVER met a stranger, making friends wherever he went.

Paul was loved by many, and his family and friends were incredibly important to him. He is going to be forever missed and lovingly remembered by Kamee; their two sons, Griffith and Jonathan Reese; his brother, Frank C. Lind; nephews and nieces, Felicia, Samantha, and Frank Lind Jr. and Michael Travis and Donald Jacob Lind; and many other friends and relatives. His spirit will live on through them.

Services will be held at Sharptown United Methodist Church where Paul was a member, on Saturday, June 17th at 3 Chapel Street, Pilesgrove, NJ 08098. The Christian service will start promptly at 11:00.
