Paul “Dougie” Lewis Jr. of Birnamwood, WI passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Weston Saint Clare’s Hospital at 49 years old.
Paul was born in St. Louis, MO on August 26, 1970 and was raised in Bellevue, OH. He was the firstborn, of Paul D. Lewis Sr. and Patsy (Bounds) Lewis. Paul graduated with the class of 1988 at Bellevue High School. He served in the United States Air Force from 1988-1992. On August 19, 2004, Paul was united in marriage to Susan “Sue” (Hogan) Lewis in Stillwater, MN. He enjoyed truck driving, rock music, and making his friends and family laugh. Paul was a beloved father and grandfather who will be missed dearly by his children and grandchildren. He will remain a cherished father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend.
Paul is survived by four daughters, Serina (Rhi) Lewis, Aurora, CO; Paige Lewis, Birnamwood, WI; Peyton Lewis and Sommer Lewis, Woodbury, MN; One son, Josh Carroll, Farmington, MN; two sisters, Paula (Mike) Williamson of New York City, NY; Tricia (Brady) Sanford, Bellevue, OH; his mother, Patsy Lewis, Wolffourth, TX; two grandchildren, Bennett Carroll, Farmington, MN; Paisley Barrick, Birnamwood, WI. Paul is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and countless other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan “Sue” K. Lewis, and his father, Paul “Doug” D. Lewis Sr.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date in Birnamwood, WI. Paul and Susan will be put to rest together at last in the spring.
