It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Paul Ray Hunt Sr., a man of great strength, warmth, and charisma, on May 11, 2025. Born on January 22, 1938, Paul lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication, demonstrating a profound commitment to both his work and his family.
Paul was a vibrant soul, a jokester with an infectious laugh that could light up any room. His gregarious and friendly nature made him a beloved figure, cherished by all who had the privilege to know him. His love for his family was immense and was evident in every facet of his life. He truly epitomized the principle he often shared, "Work hard, love harder."
With a career spanning several decades, Paul retired from O/O OTR Flatbed in 2022. Known for his intense knowledge of the highways, Paul was a true professional, respected by his peers and colleagues. He met challenges with grace and determination, a testament to his incredible tenacity and hardworking spirit.
His legacy is one of strength, teaching us the importance of resilience in the face of adversity.
