Paul's obituary
Paul Jeffery Galloway was born in London, Ontario, and passed away peacefully in his sleep at Chelsey Park in London on August 7, 2025.
Predeceased by Father Dennis Desmond Galloway (1972) and Mother Ruth Ellen Galloway (2007).
Paul’s greatest joy in life was being a father and grandfather. He was the proud dad of seven children: Michelle Galloway, Victoria Galloway, Jedidiah Galloway, Stephanie Galloway, Deborah Galloway, Josiah Galloway, and Madelyn Galloway. He was also a loving grandpa to Emma Galloway, Thora Galloway, Aurora Galloway, Freya Galloway, Elysia Leonard, Kylo Rodriguez, and his baby grandson on the way. He is also remembered with love by his sisters Lee Robbins and Kathy Jensen, and his brothers Dave Galloway and Des Galloway.
Paul’s life, like many, was not without struggle. He walked through seasons of hardship and solitude, yet even in those times, his love for his children and grandchildren remained a constant source of light. His heart was tender, his humor could brighten a room, and his faith sustained him through the ups and downs of his journey.
He had passions that reflected his curiosity and creativity—studying the Bible, writing stories, and collecting stamps and coins. He took pride in his Irish and Scottish heritage, a part of his identity that always meant a great deal to him.
Paul will be remembered for both his humanity and his heart—for the laughter he brought, the lessons he shared, and the love he carried for his family. His presence was a gift, and his legacy lives on in his children and grandchildren.
A memorial to celebrate Paul’s life will be held on Saturday, August 23, in London, Ontario, with family and friends.
