We are deeply saddened to hear of Paul's passing. We enjoyed getting to know him and his family through Little League and travel baseball. Our heavy hearts and prayers go out to Paul and his family. May God be with Paul and his family during this difficult time.

What an incredibly full and rich life he lived. And yet, the time that Paul had on earth was not nearly long enough, for him, for his wonderful family or his legions of friends.
We will continue to carry each of you in our hearts, dear Susan, Ellen, Joe, Dan and Jordan. And we will never forget Paul's kindness, the smile that came so easily to him and his loving spirit.

I’ll cherish every memory we shared together as a family. He was always the kindest great uncle to Emma and Savannah. To say he will be missed is an understatement. Rest peacefully, U.P.

Paul was a gentle, kind, strong, smart, sensible, funny, loyal, committed guy. We will miss him at every family gathering and every day in between. Yet we will feel and know his presence at every family gathering and every day in between.
We know Paul wanted nothing more than for his family to be joyful and at peace. So, for him, we will strive to bring joy and peace to those he loves so dearly.
With love, Laurie and David

The universe has lost someone so special that words are hard to capture its depth. My brother-in-law Paul was deeply devoted to Susan, his wife of 30 years, their three kind, thoughtful, and talented children, Ellen, Joe, and Dan, and all whom he touched. Our family will feel this loss every day. He brought us steadiness, love, and humor. I am thankful Susan brought Paul into our lives. Truly one of the finest of men to walk this earth. RIP, Paul. We love you. Marcy

Very sorry to hear about the loss of my good friend Gal. Whether it was running on the 2-mile relay at Cardinal O'Hara, studying German in Mr. Peter's German class (Der Affe ist los!) or working our butts off at Mrs. McElvain's farm in Newtown Square, Gal always had a sense of humor. I have saltier memories that I will refrain from sharing. I will never forget him. God bless the Gallagher family!

Our family’s most sincere condolences. Paul coached in our son’s little league baseball league and, in addition to being a patient and talented coach, he was a voice of reason on and off the field. His love of the sport and dedication to the players extended to high school varsity ball, where he was the team’s go-to announcer. His mid-inning playlists never failed to entertain players and fans alike.
May his memory be eternal.

My words are terribly inadequate in expressing my grief and sorrow for a loss so great.
Paul was such a wonderful, kind friend. He was a compassionate, unique, brilliant, charming person. We had many great times together. As Izzy said about Paul, “fun was always on the menu.”
When I hit a rough spot in my career, Paul helped me secure a position with him. I didn’t ask him—he just did it…because that’s who he was—a real friend that cared and produced results for others.
I pray that the wonderful, life affirming memories of Paul help Sue, Ellen, Joe and Dan through this difficult time.
May my dear friend now rest in peace.

I worked with Paul for many years at UE&C and Raytheon. He was a terrific guy with a great, positive attitude. We had great meals together with good food and fine wines. But the best part was the laughter, which was always on the menu. I know that Paul will live on in the memory his family and friends. May he rest in peace.

I always think of Paul telling me his father’s choice of libation was PBR. For years, every time I am anywhere and see this, I think of him. Paul was a very smart, welcoming, kind person who was an anchor to all things youth baseball in our city. He loved his family and always wore a smile. When I think of Paul I think of all good things. I am thankful I knew Paul and am saddened that I will not see him again. He left his mark in our world.

Im am sad beyond words for losing another member of our family to cancer. I am even more sad for Susan and family. A tragic loss but hope someday the beautiful memories of his time as a father and husband will bring a smile to their face.

Paul was a true gentleman and a friend. I only met him on two occasions, but that’s all it took to understand his warmth and hospitality.
He opened up his house to me and treated me like a true friend. You will be missed.
