We are saddened to announce the passing of Mr. Paul Conroy, who departed this life on January 11, 2025. Born on February 26, 1934, Mr. Conroy lit up this world for almost 91 years with his wit, generosity, and sharp intellect.

Paul is survived by his dearly loved wife, Carol Anne Conroy, with whom he shared a lifelong loving partnership. His daughters, Elizabeth Conroy, Sarah Conroy, and Kelly Aluise, and his son, David Conroy, are left to cherish his unforgettable memory. His daughter-in-law, Leisha Conroy, granddaughters, Emma Aluise, Mackenzie Conroy, Ruby Conroy, and Taylor Timofeyev, and grandson, Charlie Conroy, will no doubt miss their beloved grandfather deeply. An unfortunate loss was felt earlier in Paul's life when his brother Peter Conroy predeceased him.

Known for his witty and curious persona, Paul was a generous and kind man. He was a gifted storyteller and shared many with his kids and grandkids as they grew up. He shared his love for science as Mr. Science, volunteering in local Boston schools and libraries for many years. His teachings and enthusiasm for knowledge will long be remembered in these communities.

Paul loved a homemade recipe of Rum Punch, Margaritas, and a fine whiskey to sip on. In his leisure time, he savored the victories of the Patriots, enjoyed vacations in Jamaica with his wife and friends and loved traveling the Pacific Northwest. Taking his dogs Scout, Lacey and Ginger on long walks and adventures in the woods brought him great joy.

Paul leaves behind a legacy of kindness and curiosity. His impact on the lives he touched will be a continual source of inspiration. His absence will be profoundly felt by all his loved ones.
