Paul's obituary
Paul Mikel Colunga, 68 was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather and friend of Lehi, UT. Paul was returned to the lord on November 16, 2021 after a battle with cancer.
Paul was born April 23, 1953 in Provo, UT to Nick and Delphina Colunga. He was one of eight children and was preceeded in death by brothers Jacob Nick Colunga and Raymond Henry Colunga, sisters Avalina Neomi Colunga and Irene Louise Colunga (Wilcox).
Paul is survived by brothers Adam Colunga of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Jimmie D. Colunga of Lehi, Utah; Sam Colunga of Pleasant Grove, Utah; and sister Elizabeth Colunga (Romero) of American Fork, Utah; children, Shane Colunga of Kingman, Arizona; Pauline J. Colunga of Roosevelt, Utah; and Shasta Kaycee Colunga (Fisher) of Lehi, Utah; grandchildren Tasha Colunga, Blazse Colunga, Nathan Colunga, Izabell Ann Hight (Sorensen), Cody Sioux Colunga, Kade Nicolas Colunga Hembree; great grandchildren Wyatt Colunga, Maverick Sorensen and Auzlynn Sorensen.
Paul was born and raised in Provo, Utah. He attended Grandview Elementary, Dixon Jr. High-school and Provo High-school.
Paul loved being the BBQ master at family get together's, he enjoyed golfing with his brother Jimmie and friends, he also liked cross country skiing, mountain biking, racketball, pickleball, camping and hunting. He liked to live life to its fullest.
Paul made the decision to donate his body to research/science and will be cremated.
There will be no viewing or funeral services held. We will be planning a celebration of life in April
