Paul Carry Lavell “Papa” passed away peacefully at home in his sleep on 12/28/2021. Paul was born

5/14/1953 and raised in Blaine, Minnesota. He loved to hunt, fish and travel and even was learning to

carve. He shared some of his secrets with his loving family. As a small engine mechanic, sharing his love

of engines with his children even after he retired in 2011 and moved to Wahkon, MN, where he enjoyed

life, hunting, fishing, and playing with his grandkids. He will be gravely missed and live on forever in the

hearts of everyone he met. He was a loving father, a wonderful grandfather, and a friend to many he

was a joker, a prankster, and always put a smile on your face. He leaves behind his mother Shirley,

brothers Gary, Mark, sister Wendy, and three children, Shantelle, Jason, Janice, and 9 Grandchildren.

See you in heaven, Papa. Don’t give the lord too much trouble.
