I miss you Paul, I had a bad day today. I can imagine coming home and telling you about it and you suggesting ice cream to make it better. I miss you and wonder often on what our relationship would look like if you were still here. I think it would involve a lot of lunches and boating and overall a lot of laughter.

What can you say about Paul. He was more than my friend…he was family. His smile was infectious, and his heart was full and true. When he let you in, you felt it, and you knew you were loved by the most loyal man I have ever met. We were inseparable in our youth, and I could write novels of our adventures and failures. When I think of my brother, I always picture that big smile and hear his laugh. If you knew Paul, you were blessed as he made sure you knew laughter, joy, and love. My heart hurts that you’re gone and I didn’t get to say goodbye but I’m glad you’re at peace. I love and miss you brother!
