Paul's obituary

Paul Michael Birmingham, 59, passed away in the morning on Wednesday, August 5th 2020 in his beautiful home in Chino Valley, AZ. He was born on August 19, 1960 in Kansas City, Kansas to Carol and Bernard Birmingham. He graduated from ASU with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in 1983. He worked as a Program Manager at Cobham Aerospace Connectivity in Prescott, AZ. He married his best friend and beautiful bride on May 4, 1985 in Scottsdale AZ. They met each other doing what they loved best – playing the guitar and singing in their church choir. Paul was loved by all who were lucky enough to meet him. Paul was a man full of life. Paul was an amazing husband and father; he made sure to support the interests of his family, and supported them in whatever they chose to do in terms of career and education. He made sure his family knew how much he loved them – he loved his family, his dogs, and he had a beautiful love of flying. One of his greatest achievements in life was getting his private pilot’s license. Flying was his passion in life, and he never felt more alive than when he was flying especially getting to share his passion with his family by flying them around. He was a HAM radio operator and was known as N5UHD by his amateur radio and New Mexico Search & Rescue friends. He lived a full life and is survived by his wife, Kathleen Birmingham; son James Birmingham; daughters Mary Dorado and Elizabeth Maly; parents Bernard & Carol Birmingham; brothers Bruce Birmingham, Wayne Birmingham, Matthew Birmingham; sister Nancy Kijewski; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, cousins and friends. Due to the COVID19 pandemic there will not be a funeral service, but a private familial online celebration of life on his birthday, August 19, 2020.
