Background
We are grateful for our family's, friends', and the community's support in the immediate months following Xander's sudden death. We are lucky to be a part of such a resilient, loving community in Aspen.
The Pathfinders organization is an anchor when any member of the community faces traumatic grief. Pathfinders' network of highly effective grief counselors, and other caregivers, helps step by step through shock, grief, and rebuilding a new normal.
Donations on behalf of Xander will go to Pathfinders in order to continue the support they give allowing community members to move forward in the darkest of times in their lives.
We would also like to dedicate trees to be planted as memorials for Xander around the city through the City of Aspen Memorial Tree Program. Each tree costs $1200 to plant and maintain. Linked here: https://www.aspen.gov/DocumentCenter/View/1189.
Finally, the Wait Until 8th program focuses on using evidence to teach parents how to foment healthy relationships between children and smart devices and social media by waiting until children are an appropriate age to manage what they will encounter. Contribute
