Patrick's obituary
Patrick Timothy Wade, 65, of Madison, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2024.
He is survived by his wife, Linda, daughters Alicia, Rebekah, and Gabriella, son Patrick Jr., sisters Anne and Sharon, and niece Shannon as well as countless friends and family who will miss him dearly.
When you think of Pat, you think of how much he loved the simple things in life - dinner with his family, morning coffee on the deck with Linda, sitting at the beach, working in the yard. His 'salesman' like charm was a pillar of his personality - always taking the time to ask a waiter, or cashier clerk their name and ask about their day. At home, you'd frequently find him putzing around the house with a Bluetooth speaker on full volume, singing a classic rock hit. Pat's unwavering love for his family and friends was never questioned - An "I love you" or, "I'm so proud of you" were never in short supply. We will miss his good morning texts, lengthy voicemails, nickname-calling, Sunday sauce, baked goods, cheering for New York sports teams, love notes on napkins and all the other little things that made Pat who he was.
Like the rest of the Wade family, Pat was a Christian and active member of the Gateway Community Church of West Haven, Connecticut. He loved his church family and Pastor, Lance Bane, very much. Despite his long battle and history of health complications, his faith never waivered - standing steadfast and trusting God's plan.
Gone but never forgotten - we will miss Pat here with us on earth, but are comforted knowing he is no longer suffering and has been welcomed into the house of the Lord.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date as the family takes this time to mourn privately.
