Background
Patrick was living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) for many years prior to his passing. The disease progressed such that he was slowly losing his sight and mobility, and at the end of his life he was severely physically and emotionally impacted by his condition. Informational resources from the National MS Society helped Patrick and his family negotiate treatment options during his most trying times.
