It is with deep sorrow and yet fond reminiscences that we announce the passing of Patrick "Pirate" Phillips, who has left us on December 23, 2024. Born on March 17, 1955, Patrick, often affectionately known as Pirate, was a man of immense integrity and generosity .

Survived by his wife, Lorraine and daughters, Zekeyra, Zaria, Nyah and Laila Phillips, Patrick was a beacon of strength and loved his family. He took immense satisfaction from the simplest things in life, one of which was his marrying his beautiful wife, Lorraine, and raising four daughters. His life was one of devotion and love for his family. His legacy, characterized by confidence, strength, pride, and a deep connection with God, will live on in his loved ones.

Patrick was known for his wit and his larger-than-life personality. His loud laughter was a familiar sound at gatherings, and his wide smile and proud stature will be forever ingrained in our memories. He taught us many lessons, but perhaps the most significant was to act out of kindness without expecting it in return. This selflessness will forever be a part of his legacy.
