Background

Support The Next Generation of Musicians in Memory of Pat Peterson

Patrick Norman Peterson (1957–2024) lived life boldly and on his own terms, leaving behind a legacy of love and creativity. Pat touched the lives of many with his deep connection to music, his family, and his community. Although he is no longer with us, his spirit of generosity and his passion for music continue to resonate.

In honor of Pat’s lifelong love for music—despite the challenges he faced, including learning guitar at 9 years old with just three fingers on his left hand—we have established a memorial fund to benefit local public school music programs. Pat always believed that music, when played from the soul, could uplift, heal, and bring people together. Through this fund, we hope to nurture the next generation of musicians in our community, helping them find their voices just as Pat found his.

Your donation to this fund will go directly toward providing instruments, music education, and performance opportunities to students who might not otherwise have access to them. By supporting these young musicians, we not only honor Pat’s legacy but also help to carry forward his belief that “everyone matters,” and that music is a powerful way to express that truth.

Pat’s life was one of generosity, from opening his home and heart to those who needed a place to belong, to sharing his gift of music with anyone willing to listen. In this same spirit, we ask that you join us in making a difference in the lives of young people, ensuring that the beauty of music continues to thrive in our community.

Thank you for your generosity in keeping Pat’s memory alive through the joy and power of music. Every contribution, no matter the size, is a gift that honors his life and helps create a lasting impact.
