It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Patrick Owen's on November 13, 2023. Born on October 16, 1939, Patrick lived a life full of love, faith, and compassion. His legacy of kindness and generosity will forever inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

A faithful attendee of the First Baptist Church of Jackson, MS, Patrick was a man of deep faith, which he considered one of his greatest accomplishments alongside his beloved family. He was known for his loving and caring nature, always eager to lend a helping hand.

Patrick was deeply connected to his family. He is survived by his loving wife Robbie, whom he married in 1957, his cherished children Dana Jennings, Linda Owen's, and Damaris Owen's, and his treasured grandchildren Nelson Vincent, Amber Vincent, and Chelsea Vincent. His devotion to his family was one of his most enduring qualities.

He took pleasure in simple joys. Favorites included burgers and root beer floats, canvas paintings, and the jazz music that frequently filled his home. He was an avid fan of mystery novels, the TV shows 'Heat of the Night' and 'Chuck Norris', and the classic film 'Gone by the Wind'.

His enthusiasm for the Yankees was unmatched, as was his skill in chess. His love for the Nutcracker performance never waned. He cherished his recreational time spent fishing and often cherished long walks for exercise. Patrick loved visiting mom and pops restaurants locally and vacationing in Hawaii.

The causes he cared most about included finding a cure for cancer. He taught us all the importance of listening and having compassion for one another. His favorite color was green, a testament to his love for life and growth. His life indeed was a testament of love and compassion.

Truly loved and never forgotten, Patrick Owen's memory shall live on, his lessons echoing in our hearts. A life beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Patrick's light in our lives will endure, his legacy carried on through his family and the countless lives he touched.
