It is with great love and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patrick J. Neilson Sr., beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, of Queen Creek, Arizona, who left this world on August 24, 2025. At the young age of 70, after courageously losing his battle with cancer.

Patrick was born on April 8, 1955, in Saginaw, Michigan. In 1962, he moved with his family to Arizona, where he lived the remainder of his life. From a young age, Patrick was known for his strong work ethic, generous heart, and unwavering devotion to family. He lived his life with integrity and resilience, and he poured those values into everyone he loved.

Patrick built a successful career in the air conditioning industry, first founding Arizona Temperature Control and later operating under the name Neilson Service Company. His dedication to quality, honesty, and hard work earned him a reputation of respect among colleagues and customers alike.

Beyond his work, Patrick’s passions defined him. He had a deep love for vintage cars, often spending hours restoring and appreciating their timeless beauty. He was also an avid flat track racing enthusiast, both on and off the track, finding joy in the speed, competition, and community it brought. Patrick’s adventurous spirit also shined through his love of hunting, rodeos, and horse shows, where he found friendship, excitement, and pride in the western way of life.

Above all else, Patrick was a devoted father and grandfather. He raised his children with strength, compassion, and endless support—always ready to encourage, to teach, and to stand proudly by their side. His grandchildren and family will forever cherish the lessons, laughter, and love he gave so freely.

Patrick is survived by his sons, Kevin (Janet) Neilson, Patrick (Jenn) Neilson, and David Neilson; his daughters, Jamie Morris-(Ashley) Baber and Ashley Bosack-(Casey) Cardon ; his beloved granddaughters, Natalie and Abby Neilson, and grandson James Baber ; his sister, Phyllis (Gary) Whitworth; his brothers, Terry Neilson and Robert Neilson; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life BBQ will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at 4160 W Josiah Trail, Queen Creek, AZ 85144. Please RSVP. Family and friends are warmly invited to join us in sharing stories, memories, and a meal together as we celebrate Patrick’s life.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Patrick’s honor.

Patrick’s strength, love, and laughter will live on in our hearts forever.
