As being one of Pat's younger cousins I do have some memories as a child spending time with the the family. We had many holidays and celebrations with the Gonyeaus and McTevias. One of my best memories was when we were older and Carolyn and Pat were married and had children we went to their home and had a wonderful barbecue and swimming party in their backyard. Thanks for the memories my thoughts and prayers are with all the family.

Pat was one of my favorite members during my time working at Planet Fitness Grand Blanc. He was such a delight to see. Very sad to hear of his passing 😭 my thoughts are with his family

I am one of Patrick’s first cousins. Daughter of Peg and Lou Gonyeau who was Marie McTevia’s brother. We were blessed to have a close, family relationship, especially when we were younger. I have many fond memories of visits to Marine City and spending time with Patrick, Richard and Denny. Having adventures and making memories. When Patrick was involved, those adventures were always exciting, even a little frightening at times. 😂
Praying for God‘s peace and comfort for all those who loved Pat and are struggling with this loss. May your memories bring you comfort and peace! ❤️

Pat you were a king , you made conversation with everybody you came in contact with in the gym , you always made friends. you touched so many people in Planet Fitness. Im thankful and grateful for your presence and the conversations we had . Condolences to you and your family ❤️ gym sessions aren’t gonna be the same without you . Patrick was always eager to make conversation. It didnt matter who you were, what you looked like, or how you felt that day. He frequented the gym and everyone knew him, he was a core part in the small community there. He would always say that this was one of the best parts of his day! And I know for a lot of people, he was the best part of theirs. I know so many people are hurt to hear the news of his passing, and I want his family to know how appreciated Pat was. He was a one of a kind person, always making cheesy jokes, and always took the time to listen to whoever he got to see that day. Personally, Pat always felt like family. I would see him every time I went to Planet Fitness for the past 3 years, and i am so very thankful our paths crossed. Im so glad that he was surrounded by loved ones in his final moments. He has left his mark on the gym community and im sure in many other ways in peoples lives! I know I speak for many when I say he will be very deeply missed. I wish love and blessings on his family as they navigate these hard times.

I met Pat through planet fitness and was always kind, when ever we crossed paths our conversations always started with me saying “I hope to look as good as you at your age.” And him saying how he was trying to catch up to me. The last time we spoke we were talking about how he was excited to take his corvette out of storage so we could go for a ride. Truly one of the nicest people I’ve met. My thoughts go out to his family rest easy Pat you’ll be missed

I was blessed to have Patrick as a member at planet fitness. I talked with him every day and he always had a smile on his face. The amount of hearts he touched at the gym was unlike any other. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family❤️

I am so very sorry for your loss. Patrick was my neighbor for many years. I enjoyed talking with him; and, WOW! He kept a meticulous yard with gorgeous flowers. It was always interesting to see which vehicle he chose to drive on which day. He loved his vehicles! I pray God gives you all the comfort needed during this time

I am Pat's cousin and we spent a lot of time together, as we were growing up. I have many memories of spending time together, in Marine City. I am heart broken for his Children and Grandchildren. Sending my sincerest condolences for their loss. Pat was loved and will be missed.

I am Patrick’s great nephew, Fr. Jeff Day. I have been keeping him in prayer and will offer a Mass for the repose of his soul on Tuesday, February 20. My prayers and condolences to his entire family. God bless

My condolences to Patrick's family. I first met Patrick when we met at planet fitness a few years ago! We became friends instantly and spoke alsmost daily for last 2 years. He was a car lover like myself. He visited often after the gym to come and sit at our pool and just talk. He was truley a great friend and mentor for any advice. He will be missed dearly. I am glad that he did not suffer and was a real trooper through his quick illness. He was a freind to everyone he met. Often had to wait in line at the gym just to talk as he was everyones favorite.
