Patrick E. Knickerbocker, age 83, of Fowlerville, passed away at his home November 1, 2008. He was born October 2, 1925 in Webberville, son of Earl and Florence (Crahan) Knickerbocker. Widower of the late Gloria (Beduhn) Knickerbocker (1987), whom he married September 16, 1961 in Williamston. Dear father of Kelly (Joan) of Illinois, Kevin (Karen) of Tecumseh and Kari (Michael) Hubert of Fowlerville. Also survived by grandchildren, Jacob, Mitchell and Brian Hubert and Kyle Knickerbocker. 

Patrick was a retired operating engineer for Local 324 and a member of the Fowlerville VFW Post 6464. He was a World War II veteran who served proudly under General Patton and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. 

Visitation will be Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. with services Wednesday 11 a.m. at MacDonald's Funeral Home, Howell (517-546-2800). Burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Fowlerville. Memorial contributions may be made to Fowlerville VFW Post 6464.
