Pat's obituary
Patrick "Pat" Caufield, Born March 17,1944 passed away on July 26, 2024, after battling cancer.
Pat is survived by two sons; Tony Caufield (Karla), Christopher Caufield (Rachel), three stepdaughters; Evelyn Kay Bonar, Rhonda Lynn Even (Mitch), Donna Jo Smith (Whit), brother, Bill Caufield, two brothers-in-law; Jim Collins (Sandy), Kenny Collins (Meyessa), 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 40 years Terry Evelyn Collins Caufield, his mother Blanche Ross and his great-grandson Cameron Alvin Ullerich.
Pat was a US Air Force veteran and a graduate of the University of New Mexico. After achieving his CPA Certification in 1986 he opened his own practice in El Paso, TX. Later partnering with his wife, Terry Caufield, to open an Escrow company in 1994. After retiring in 2004, they moved to Blanco, Texas and travelled all over the United States. Some of their travels were with his two brothers-in-law, Jimmy and Kenny. He continued doing Tax work for many existing clients and several new ones in the Blanco, TX area. He worked with the Blanco Chamber of Commerce and also served on the area’s Lavender festival committee in years past.
The family would like to thank Pat’s grandson Clayton Bonar and his entire family for taking care of his property while he was in treatment. And for their continued support through this challenging time.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 31, 2024, 2:00pm Central time at The Ark Revival Church. 111 Blanco Ave. Blanco, TX 78606
This will be followed by a gathering at Pat and Terry’s house to share memories and say our final goodbyes.
