Background
From the time her children were young, Pat and her late husband Bob spent countless days camping at Findley State Park. It quickly became a cherished retreat—a beautiful, safe place where their three boys could run, explore, and expend their endless energy. Pat found peace in the crisp morning air and comfort in the crackle of evening campfires. The park was a source of joy and rejuvenation, where the family swam, hiked, fished, and made lasting memories together.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to The Friends of Findley State Park, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to preserving and enhancing the park’s natural beauty, educational programs, and recreational offerings—going beyond what tax dollars alone can provide. This group of passionate volunteers works closely with park staff to create a welcoming, enriching experience for all visitors.
Your donation will also help fund a memorial bench and plaque in honor of Pat—commemorating the many years she spent finding peace and joy at Findley State Park. Contribute
