Patty enjoyed all of her family. She loved being with all the kids, and she was especially proud of her “six-pack” of grandchildren. Her hobbies included reading, playing card games, and dancing to country music. Bible study had become a special part of her life. Patty was perhaps best known for her poetry.

She often wrote poems for family and friends on special occasions. Her skill for weaving words will endure forever.

Patty was preceded in death by her father Charles Sabin Buckley III, mother Grace Elizabeth Buckley, stepmother Dolly Buckley, and brother Charles Sabin Buckley IV (Todd) Buckley.

Patty was survived by her children Christina (Michael) Perry, Lisa (Karl) Kirk; grandchildren Jennifer, Alexander, Elizabeth, Cheyenne, Donovan, and Dakota; sister Grace Suzanne Allgayer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Nebraska Humane Society are preferred. Patty loved animals and appreciated NHS’s dedication and care.
