I remember going on vacation to Florida when I was 13 with Patty’s sister. It was my first trip on an airplane. I had such a wonderful time. They rented a hotel room and we spent a lot of time in the pool where my Uncle Bill Patty’s dad told me one of the best stories. He told me of the time he met my mom at school and asked her if she had a boyfriend and she said yes but her sister doesn’t. She introduced them and they ended up getting married. Patty told me later that she always knew we could have been sisters. 

Patty was so special to me always there for me when I needed her gave me the opportunity to start a new life when I turned 18 and moved to Florida. I will always treasure the time I had with her. She always knew the right thing to say and we may have just been cousins but I will always be her babe. Miss you in this life and we will see you again sometime. Love your babe, Marlene
