Patricia Ann Tavares, beloved wife, mother, and nana, passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on March 4, 1941, in San Jose, California, Patricia spent her later years in Roseville, California, surrounded by the family she cherished so deeply.
She is survived by her husband, Norm Tavares; her daughter Maggie and son-in-law Mike; her son Norman and his girlfriend Rikki, along with Rikki’s son and daughter; her five treasured grandsons—Jared, Mason, Drake, Nixon, and Tommy; and her best friend Riley. Patricia embraced her entire family with unconditional love and joy, finding true happiness in the bonds they shared.
Family was the center of Patricia’s world. She lived her roles as mom and nana with immense love, pride, and grace. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—spending time with loved ones, sharing heartfelt conversations, and cheering on her favorite teams, the San Francisco Giants and the Dallas Cowboys.
Patricia loved Jesus with all her heart. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she prayed daily—often multiple times a day—for those she held dear. Her quiet strength and deep compassion were felt by everyone around her.Her favorite saying, “Happiness is a Choice,” was more than just words—it was the way she lived. Her life was a testament to the joy of faith, family, and love.
Her service will be Monday August 11, 2025 at 11:30am.
