Very sorry for the loss of Charlene. I know there will be a big hole in your hearts.  I'm so grateful we were able to keep in touch over the years especially over the last couple of years. She and I had some serious talks! I'm thankful she is now at rest and her battles in this life are over.  Cynthia you and your family are in my prayers

My uncle Hilton read this to me it's by Helen Lowrie Marshall I thought it might bring comfort to others as well.

She was a inspiration to me. She taught me most of what I know, and raised me like one of her own. I will always miss her, and always think of her when I'm drawing, something she pushed me to do and develop my skills in. I'm grateful she did, because its one of my favorite things to do. Thank you Charlene for stepping up to be my mom after I lost mine all those years ago. I love you.

I will always cherish my memories with Charlene. Not only was she such a big influence in my life she was also my friend. She was always trying to make me feel good about myself. I enjoyed her care free spirit the most. I learned very quickly never to play her at a game of cards too. That was a fun night! I know this is not the end. Charlene will be waiting for me when it's my time. This brings me so much joy and it's what will help me get through these darker days.  And the thought of her quick witted personality being the center of attention in haven is so funny to me. She will keep them on our toes for sure.
