Patricia's obituary

Patricia Seader, born on August 30, 1936, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2023. A remarkable woman, Patricia was known for her kindness, caring nature, honesty, humor, and dedication. She fought cancer valiantly for many years and passed in serenity, holding the hand of her great-granddaughter.

Patricia's life was one filled with love and accomplishment. She married her husband, Francis Seader, in 1955 and their beautiful union lasted for an impressive 68 years. She was an exceptional mother and grandmother, raising not only her own daughters, but also her granddaughter and great-granddaughter. Among her notable accomplishments was her graduation from Hicks Academy, where she studied cosmetology.

Notably, Patricia had a fondness for Alfredo, Spaghetti, BLT, Steak, Crumbcakes, Cheeseburgers, Mozzarella Sticks, and Cake among foods, and her preferred drinks included Crancherry Juice, Coffee, Tea, Water, Rolling Rock, and Select 55. She enjoyed playing Rummy and had a passion for music, particularly the tunes of Whitney Houston, Elvis Presley, and Frank Sinatra.

Patricia took pleasure in various recreational activities, such as watching TV, talking to friends, using Facebook, and reading the newspaper. She enjoyed shows like the Golden Girls, Shark Tank, Everybody Loves Raymond, Two and a Half Men, and was a fan of suspenseful films, especially those aired on the Lifetime Network.

Patricia was also a deeply caring individual, contributing to causes close to her heart like the American Cancer Society and Susan G. Komen For The Cure. Her life was a testament to her favorite color, Orange, reflecting her vibrant spirit and warm personality.

In the face of loss, Patricia leaves behind a legacy of honesty, kindness, and strength. She is survived by her loving husband, Francis Seader, and her cherished great granddaughter, Sydney Granger. She was predeceased by her daughter, Sandra Harris, her granddaughter, Nicole Seader, her mother, Ruth Sibel, and her grandmother, Hattie Lennox.
