It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia "Patty" Erickson, who left this world peacefully on October 10, 2025. She was born to Hazel and Hank Melander on December 6, 1957, both of whom predeceased her.

A light in the lives of everyone she knew, Patty was best described as effervescent, joyful, loving, compassionate, caring, and above all, happy. Her infectious positivity radiated in every place she graced, and her nurturing nature was a beacon of warmth and comfort.

Patty's proudest accomplishment was raising her three remarkable sons, Matthew, Jeremiah, and Timothy Scott. She wore her title as a mother with honor and pride. She was a beloved wife to her husband, Kjell Erickson, who survives her. Patty and Kjell's shared life was filled with deep love. She was and will always be his beautiful princess.

Patty was a devout Christian most of her life, and she loved the Lord with all her heart. She attended Creative Church in Maple Grove, where she formed many treasured friendships and found a loving church family. She truly lived her belief that "the only thing we take with us to heaven are the relationships we build here."

Even in death, Patty’s legacy prevails. She leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, family, kindness, and generosity. Those who knew her were deeply touched by her unwavering faith, love for her family, and dedication to her community. Her memory will continue to inspire and guide those she left behind.

On November 1, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, we will be holding a Celebration of Life for Patty at her home at 706 Benton St., Anoka. We invite all who knew and loved Patty to join us in celebrating and remembering the beautiful life that she led. Bring your favorite Patty Photos and Stories to share.

In the wake of this tremendous loss, we are reminded of Patty's enduring spirit and loving heart. Her memory will forever remain in our hearts, providing us with comfort in our sorrow.
