Patricia Anne Schaefer, a radiant and joyful soul who embraced life with love in all that she did, passed away on October 25th 2023. She was 90 years old.
Born on December 31st 1932, Patricia was a beacon of warmth and kindness from the very beginning. She was the beloved wife of Robert "Bob" Schaefer, and their love was a testament to the beauty of lifelong partnerships.
Patricia was a retiree who had dedicated 23 years of her life to serving as a school custodian. She then proceeded to start her own cleaning company where she was the sole operator. Her commitment to her work was evident in the safe and clean environment she maintained for countless students and families. Her cheerful demeanor, attention to detail, and unwavering dedication made her a beloved figure within the community. She brought a special kind of magic to her work that left a lasting impact on those she served.
Beyond her professional life, Patricia's most cherished role was that of a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by one child, John Upton, and her legacy is continued through her surviving grandchildren, Rachel Upton, Matthew Watts, Gregory Allen Watts, and Evangeline Watts who will forever hold the values and love she instilled in them close to their hearts.
Patricia's home was a haven of love and laughter, where her radiant spirit brought joy to all who crossed her threshold. Her love for gardening was a reflection of her deep connection to nature, and she found solace and happiness in cultivating beautiful flowers that graced her surroundings.
A celebration of Patricia's life will be held at her home, where friends and family will come together to celebrate her life and say their final goodbyes. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
