I met Mrs. Rochon through my very dear friend, Yvette. I immediately felt the love that Yvette has bragged about all these years!!! Although it was her first time talking to me, Mrs. Rochon treated and talked to me like she knew me forever!! I instantly grew to love her and kept track of her through the many talks between Yvette & myself!! What a joy!! To the Rochon Family, extended family & friends may you be comforted in your time of mourning and experience solace. Lamentations 3:32-33, “Though He brings grief, He will show compassion, so great is His unfailing love. For He does not willingly bring affliction or grief to anyone. “ In Jesus name, Amen. 🙏🏾❤️

I first met Patricia S. Rochon in August 1987 at Dillard University. She was my guidance counselor but soon came to be much more.
She was always kind with a loving heart and a willingness to help whenever I was in need. Many times, in my life whether it be milestones or tragedies, I always knew she would be there with support or encouragement. Sometimes with conversation, a hug or smile.
Pat supported me during wedding, funerals, sickness and other events without hesitation or judgment. She mentored, nurtured, guided, and taught me but most importantly loved me unconditionally. Certain people touch our lives in a special way and I’m eternally grateful to have had her be a part of my life.
I can never thank her enough for all the things she did for me. It takes a generous person who can open her arms and heart to include another “child” to love as if they were there from the start.
Hildred & Emile, there isn’t anyone I know who wasn’t touched by your mother’s spirit. She was one of the kindest most generous people I ever met. Thank you for sharing her with me. My thoughts are with you and the family during this difficult time.

I met Patricia Rochon through Yvette when she was attending Dillard University. I remember how nice and welcoming she was to me. I was also welcomed into their home. I am deeply saddened by her passing. I remember asking her how she was doing and she said, oh I am fine darling, thanks for asking.
To her family Mr. Rochon, Hildred and Emil, I am deeply sorry for your loss. I pray for strength and patience during this time. Love Fonda Young

I have known Mrs. Rochon since I was 18 years old. She was my Guidance Counselor. She greeted everyone with a smile. Our relationship extended beyond college and we remained in touch through Yvette and on social media. She will be deeply missed and her family was everything to her. May God give you strength and comfort during this difficult time.
