Patti was born in Denver, CO to William Fenton Miller and Margaret Francis Ryan-Miller on August 13, 1945. Coincidentally, Patti was born on her sister Carolyn Thayer Miller’s fifth birthday. They called each other Poochie / Poochers. Patti also had another older sister, Margaret (Peggy) Miller, and a younger brother, William (Bill) Miller. Their father was an engineer for Boeing.
