Patricia's obituary

Patricia June Matlock was born June 30th 1954. She was always on the cusp of inappropriate. She was the essence of fun and concern. She was loud and silly and sassy and clever. Patti made so many people laugh and play. She was drawn to the curmudgeon and flirted shamelessly with anyone who was attractive. She was a tease and a prude and devious and innocent. People who loved her called her Happy and most of the time she was. She was better at hide and go seek than you and she loved Prince with absolute abandonment. Music moved her and through her and she could sing, made it to the hoot n nanny and everything. That’s some kind of performance show from days of yon. She was a daughter, wife and mother and collected children like someone collects broken things and makes them new. A woman named Nora showed her how to grow a spine and she returned the favor for as many people as she could. She had a green thumb and a sense of adventure. She loved leaving group activities. Patti was a force of nature with wild long hair and bony wrists. She died March 28th 2022 from a heart well used.
