Jim Jones & Larry Stern Met Patti when she was Manager on Beach Drive.  She always greeted us with a hug & kiss and we would share how much we loved her and talked about retiring and building a small house at her sisters land in WV.   We were aware of her illness and kept in touch when we moved back close to WV Boarder.   She always expected the unexpected from me!  She would always kid my spouse that he has her condolences dealing with me 😇!

I’m sure she watches over us and the many friends we introduced visiting from WV!

She will always have a place in our heart

We are so sad at the loss of Patti. She was a dear friend who had a deep love for her family, friends, and every puppy or dog she ever met. She was always so funny and always got straight to the point. We won’t forget the night we all went to dinner at Ruth's Chris and talked about all of the plans she had down the road. She loved her kids and she loved her family back in West Virginia. We have a Christmas ornament she gave us one year that reads “Friends are Angels here on Earth.” Now Patti is our Angel in heaven. I had the pleasure of meeting Patti when I was younger. My family and I first met Patti when she was managing Sam Seltzers Steak House in St. Petersburg, FL. Patti was kind enough to provide our family band the restaurant patio to perform on Saturday nights. She would always support our music and created an environment for us to express our creativity. Here energy, guidance and support helped me grow into the person I am today. 

You will be missed, Patti.  Thank you for all the time, love and support you showed the Downing Family.

We are so saddened to hear about Patti. She had the biggest heart with a beautiful soul and knew no stranger. Her proudest accomplishment by far was her children. We knew they every time we talked to her. Her face would just light up whenever she would talk about them.   The world is a little less bright without her here.  Cherish those precious memories. I know we will. She always kept us laughing with her quick wit!  Patti  was ALWAYS there for our family.  She will always  be your guardian angel until you see her again.
