At 18, she married the love of her life, Victor Jack Combs, and together they shared more than 60 years of devoted marriage. Soon after their wedding, they settled in Salinas, California, where they built their life and raised their family. Patricia attended beauty school and loved practicing her craft on her sisters as she perfected her skills. Over the years, she also worked in the packing sheds of Salinas, as a Tupperware associate, at the winery in Gonzales, and with The Lantis Corporation. After many years in the produce business, she and Jack retired to Yuma, Arizona, where they enjoyed their well-earned rest together. She loved playing solitaire, reading, camping, fishing, boating, and most of all, spending time with her family. Adventurous, loyal, gentle yet strong, Patricia made everyone she met feel valued and loved.
