Patricia's obituary

Patricia “Patty” Irene Ackett, age 76, resident of Puyalllup, WA, passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital at 11:50am on October 15, 2019, surrounded by her family. She was born on December 4, 1942 at 3:25am, in Port Gamble to the late Jack and Ellen O"Brien. She is preceded in death by her sister Ellen (O’Brien) White and brother John O’Brien. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years Harold E. Ackett, loving sons David Ackett and Harold C. Ackett (wife, Nina), loving sister of brothers Joe O’Brien and Charles O’Brien, and sister Adanne Jefferies, attentive and loving grandmother to 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, loving aunt of many nieces and nephews and their children.
She worked most of her life at different companies in the state of Washington. She retired in 2000. She loved to hunt, fish, travel, go camping, golfing and bowling. Most of all, she loved spending time with the love of her life, Harold. She was a loyal wife, mother, sister, mother in law, auntie, grandmother and great grandmother, and friend, who always put her family first. She was a remarkable cook, who loved to cook for her family and friends. She was a faithful and loyal sports fan to her Seattle Seahawks and Seattle Mariners.
