Patisepa Tuinei was born on 1 September 1930, in Faleniu, Tualauta, Western, American Samoa, her father, Gagau Taiali'i Sanitoa, was 26 and her mother, Tali'ilagi Alofipo Semau, was 26. She married Soloa Tuvale Pei on 17 September 1956, in Apia, Tuamasaga, Upolu, Samoa. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 2 daughter. She lived in Tualauta, Western, American Samoa in 1940. She died on 15 April 2025, in Salt Lake, Utah, United States, at the age of 95, and was buried in West Valley City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States, surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and family who loves her dearly in her home in Taylorsville, Utah. She is survived by daughters, Salamina Tiumalu, Sulesa V. Pei, Taliilagi Galeai, Gardenia Pei and Lavinia Fruean. Sons, Alex Tuinei and Lamatia Tapu. Brothers, Tauivi Tuinei, Maugatuli Tuinei and Siitia Tuinei. Sisters, Palepa Milo Seui and Velonika Suafo'a Gagau. Preceded in death by parents, eternal companion Soloa Tuvale Pei. Daughter, Patsy Agiga Talo. Sons, Frederick Pei-Letuli and Soloa D. Pei. Sisters: Ta'aitulagi Sete, and Faleono Gagau Brothers: Kalosi Manu Tuinei and Fagaima Gagau.
