Pat W. Taylor, beloved husband, father, and cherished member of his community, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2024. Pat lived a life filled with love, hard work, and joy, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Born into a world where dedication and perseverance were paramount, Pat exemplified these qualities throughout his life. After a successful career at Bell Helicopter, where he dedicated himself tirelessly, Pat retired, only to find joy in another arena. His passion for work led him to Lowe's Home Improvement, where he spent 15 fulfilling years, bringing his expertise and warmth to all he encountered.
A skilled carpenter by trade, Pat's hands crafted not just furniture and homes, but also lasting memories for his family and friends. He possessed a gift for storytelling and humor, with an endless supply of jokes that brought laughter to any gathering. His love for people was matched only by his love for old country music and classic cars, his encyclopedic knowledge allowing him to identify any vehicle by make and model with ease.
He was a proud member of the University United Methodist Church and the Azle Masonic Lodge, where he found fellowship and camaraderie among his peers.
But above all, Pat treasured his family. He found immense joy in spending time with his grandchildren, imparting wisdom and creating precious moments that will be cherished for generations to come. And while he relished in many delights, from the simple pleasure of fried catfish, a cold beer and banana pudding, it was the love and companionship of his family that brought him the greatest happiness.
Pat Wayne Taylor's legacy of love, hard work, and laughter will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of sharing in his remarkable journey.
