Pascal's obituary
Pascal Edward Lee (Chinese: Lee Ka-Long), aged 46, left this world unexpectedly and all-too-soon, on February 4th, 2022 in Calgary, Alberta. Preceded in death by mother Barbara Li (Chinese Li Hing-Kwong), and partner Shayna Marie Leather. Pascal is survived by his father Edward, son Gabriel, and a brotherhood of lifelong friends in Toronto who will miss him dearly.
Pascal was born in London ON, and raised in Toronto; attended Earl Haig Secondary in North York, and Carlton University in Ottawa. In his 20s, he left Toronto in search of work opportunities to Alberta, and spent his first years in industrial plumbing. Later he settled in Calgary where he met Shayna and brought Gabriel into the world. He was always a proud father who longed to spend as much time as he could with his son. His later years were marked by periods of struggle and loss. But he strove to meet them with humour, dignity, and hope. May he rest and be free now, and rejoin with ancestors and loved ones who went before. He will not be forgotten.
