“Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13 NLT
I believe that Pan lived her life intent on these 3 principles.
Faith:
Every aspect of her life reflected faith. She boldly talked about it with her family, friends, other cancer patients, medical professionals or anyone she encountered that needed encouragement. She placed her faith in God first, her family whom she valued their support and opinions, and lastly in the medical community.
Hope:
Every time I spoke with Pam, she talked about her hopes and dreams for her children and grandchildren. She was very proud of each of you, Matthew, Alison, David, and Amy. She loved helping you build a future.
Pam also put great hope in any and all treatments available for her cancer. She fought this battle valiantly! She was committed to seeing this thing through to the very end. She understood the meaning of at all costs but also knew that the ultimate outcome was in the power of God healing touch.
Love:
“And the greatest of these is Love. “. Pam loved without boundaries. Everyone who came into her life was treated not only with respect but with love. She would give of herself with a helping hand, financially, and a word of encouragement. This was her greatest gift.
She was like a sister to me in the 6 years I knew her. We met by chance but knitted our hearts together by these 3 shared principles- faith, hope, and love. You will be missed my friend!
